The final will be held on the 11th of September. It is anticipated to be that UAE, Kuwait, Singapore and Hong Kong will be playing qualifying for the final, and sixth position at the Asia Cup 2022.

The Asia Cup 2022 schedule has been announced and India will face Pakistan in the final match on 28th day of August. The arch-rivals will be playing their first game against one another.

The date for the 2015 tournament for this year’s Asian tournament was revealed through Jay Shah, Chairman of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Twitter.
Ten of the 13 games, which includes the final on September 11 which will be played in Dubai and rest of the games are scheduled to take place in Sharjah. UAE, Kuwait, Singapore as well as Hong Kong will play a qualifying round which will see the winner take over India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh in the main tournament.
The main tournament will feature six teams. They are divided into two groups. India, Pakistan, and the qualifier form part of Group A. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan are part of Group B. Each team is part of the group for only one game.
Top two teams from each group will play in an Super 4round. This means that there’s possibility of at most having an India as well as Pakistan game in the 2nd round before the final match where only the two top teams play.
The event was originally scheduled to take place in the country in Sri Lanka and was moved to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) only recently due to the economic and political turmoil within the country.
The Asia Cup, which was last played in 2018 will be played using the T20 format. India is the currently the champion, will enter the 2022 edition as one of the favorite.
