The PCB on Monday released a video showing Pakistani pacers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf catching up virtually with Shaheen Afridi, who is in London for the rehab of his knee recovery.
The Men in Green on Sunday defeated India by five wickets and avenged their group stage defeat.
Pacers Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah were on-point as they have shared responsibilities in the absence of Shaheen Afridi.
During the virtual meet, Shaheen praised Haris for his bowling against India but demanded more yorkers from him and Naseem.
The left-arm seamer updated the duo on his rehab and said he is doing weight training and will start bowling in two weeks.
“By the grace of god, I will start bowling in two weeks. Currently, I am doing weight training and have built six-pack abs.”
Haris quickly teased Shaheen and added, “You want to become an actor, don’t you?”
In the video, Afridi asks about Mohammad Rizwan’s health, who visited the hospital after the match for a precautionary check-up.
Haris said that Rizwan is all fit, which means he will start against Afghanistan on Wednesday.
Before signing off, Afridi wished his teammates all the best for the upcoming matches and reminded them not to let the Asia Cup slip.
“Asia Cup nahi jana chahiye haath se (Asia Cup shouldn’t go out of your hands),” said Afridi.
