Left-hander Fakhar Zaman said Pakistan’s morale is still high as one defeat doesn’t impact the players’ confidence. On Sunday, August 28, Pakistan lost to India by five wickets after a brilliant partnership between Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja.
Hardik scored an unbeaten 17-ball 33 and finished the game with a six at the Dubai International Stadium.
“It was a close match, and anything can happen in such a tight contest. We were ahead at one stage, but one good innings took the game away from us. Defeat against India hasn’t impacted our morale. We are still confident of performing well against Hong Kong,” Fakhar said.
“In T20Is, you can’t afford to take any team lightly. We need to play our best game against Hong Kong,” he added.
