Pakistan thumped India in the Super 4 match at the Dubai International Stadium. The Men in Blue couldn’t defend 181 and lost the game by 5 wickets, which ended their hopes of qualifying for the finale of the Asia Cup 2022.
Arfa Feroz Zake, a Pakistan-based journalist, has made a big remark about the Rohit Sharma-led team’s defeat.
According to him, India cricket has blamed Pakistan in a statement to the match referee.
“Cry, India, Cry! Indian cricket team has blamed Pakistan for the loss on Sunday. Indian cricket team has come up with a statement to the referee that Mohammad Rizwan and other Pakistani players deliberately took pause which broke the momentum of India during the match,” he wrote.
Arfa has a habit of accusing the Indian team, as his past statements have been demeaning as wll.
Meanwhile, Pakistan will take on Sri Lanka in the final after beating Afghanistan by one wicket in Sharjah.
