Pakistan bowling coach Shaun Tait has lauded Haris Rauf and said his last over was the reason behind the team’s win over India at the Dubai International Stadium.
He bowled three dot balls to Virat Kohli after starting the over with a wide. However, his effort was spoiled by Fakhar Zaman, who misfielded and dropped a catch. Ravi Bishnoi amassed 8 runs, which took India’s score to 181/7 in 20 overs.
“Haris Rauf’s last over for me was the match-winning one. He has worked hard on his Yorkers and slower ones. His execution was perfect against India,” Tait was quoted as saying in a video on Pakistan Cricket’s Twitter handle.
Rauf registered figures of 4-0-38-1 and also picked up the wicket of Rohit Sharma. The Men in Green won the contest by 5 wickets with Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Nawaz leading the batting department.
Earlier, Arshdeep Singh was brutally trolled for dropping Asif Ali’s catch, which proved costly. Nawaz’s knock was hailed by many experts and fans.
