Pakistan brought Afghanistan into the picture, and now they have lost their minds – Javed Miandad

Former Pakistan player Javed Miandad has criticized the Afghanistan team for showing “bad behavior” during a Super Four match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

In the 19th over of the match, Fareed Ahmad dismissed Asif Ali, who lifted his bat to hit the bowler after hearing some words from behind.

“I am disappointed with Afghanistan because of their bad behavior. We brought them into the picture, and they used to practice in Pakistan. And now see their language. Have they lost their minds? Miandad said while speaking to ‘Events & Happenings Sports’.

“Pakistan has been playing the game for 20 years now. I coached Afghanistan, but I was baffled to see how they behaved, thinking of themselves as superstars. Your cricket is nothing. If you remain humble and give respect to others, your game will grow. Warna is tareeke se tum lafootas cricket kheloge,” he added.

Pakistan will meet Sri Lanka in the final of the Asia Cup on Sunday, September 11, at the Dubai International Stadium.
