Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma believes that Rohit Sharma doesn’t have faith in Deepak Hooda’s bowling.
He said Rohit should have given a few overs to Hooda against Pakistan.
Sharma opined that Deepak would have troubled Mohammad Nawaz, as he is enough experience of bowling in T20 cricket.
“Deepak Hooda was India’s sixth bowling option and should have been used when Mohammad Nawaz was batting,” he said.
“This showed that Rohit doesn’t have faith in him. He would have been a useful option as he has bowled quite a lot in T20 cricket.”
Nawaz was Pakistan’s hero as he amassed a quickfire knock of 42, which played a key role in his team’s win by 5 wickets at the Dubai International Stadium.
