Suresh Raina has been one of the best batters in white-ball cricket and his track record is impressive in the Indian Premier League. However, despite playing match-winning role for Chennai Super Kings, he went unsold in the last mega auction.
The left-handed batter has already started preparations for the 16th season of the cash-rich league. He is confident of getting a franchise ahead of the tournament.
Speaking to Dainik Jagran, the veteran said that his job is work hard and keep himself fit for a league like IPL.
In 205 IPL matches, he has scored 5528 runs with the help of a century and 39 fifties. Raina has hit 506 fours and 203 sixes so far.
He also spoke about Dinesh Karthik’s role in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. Suresh is backing Karthik to score runs for the Men in Blue.
