Pakistan head coach Saqlain Mushtaq has lauded Virat Kohli and compared him with a moon. The former India skipper is in fine form with the bat with just one failure against Sri Lanka. The 33-year-old scored two successive fifties against Pakistan and Hong in the tournament.
When the legendary spinner was asked about Kohli, he gave him a compliment for ruling the world.
“Virat Kohli is a big player who has ruled the world. He is like a moon, who was surrounded by clouds for a while, but now that clouds have gone, he is back to his best,” he said.
Saqlain also opined on Virat’s innings against Pakistan. “He played a very good knock against Pakistan, and young players can learn a lot from him. Virat took calculated risks and took the team to a good score,” he added.
