Virat Kohli achieves a record that no other Asian batter could in the history of cricket

Virat Kohli registered a record no other Asian batter could in the history of cricket.

The 33-year-old hit his maiden century in T20Is, his 71st overall in international cricket.

His 122 runs came off just 61 balls, which included 12 fours and 6 sixes at the Dubai International Stadium.

Kohli played glorious shots throughout his knock in the last contest of the tournament.

The former India captain credited Anushka Sharma for backing him during his challenging phase.

Kohli is the only player in the history of the Asia Cup to score a T20I hundred and 150+ score in the ODI format of the tournament.

He hit 183 against Pakistan in the 2012 Asia Cup.
