The Indian dressing room was delighted after the victory against arch-rivals Pakistan. One of the major positives for the Men in Blue was its bowling unit being on point.
Young guns like Arshdeep Singh and Avesh Khan absorbed the pressure well and produced a praiseworthy effort on the field.
Meanwhile, BCCI, on their Twitter handle, shared a video featuring Avesh and Arshdeep as they engage in a fun game in the dressing room with a special guest referee.
The bowling duo took part in a fun ‘aim’ game, where each player had ten chances to throw a TT ball into the cups placed on the other side of the table.
Further, Suryakumar Yadav refereed the special off-the-field battle between the two.
Going first, Avesh, in his ten attempts, managed to put the ball into the cup just once.
Arshdeep, in his first attempt, scored a point and failed in the following eight attempts. Requiring one point of the last throw to win, the pacer successfully put the ball into the cup and won the challenge.
An excited Surya pointed out that his prediction came true about Arshdeep scoring two points and also pointed to the left-arm seamer’s jersey number, which also reads 2.
The BCCI captioned the video, “A fun off-the-field battle, ft. our pacers @Avesh_6 @arshdeepsingh! You wouldn’t want to miss P.S. – @surya_14kumar gets his prediction spot on.”
India will next play Hong Kong in Dubai on 31st August.
