On Tuesday, India lost to Sri Lanka, but the fans are finding it hard to get over the loss against Pakistan, especially the dropped catch by Arshdeep Singh in the 18th over.
The 23-year-old left-arm seamer has been on the radar of trolls after the team’s defeat against the Men in Green.
The cricket fraternity and top personalities have extended their support to the seamer, but the trolling does not seem to slow down.
In the latest instance, a fan crossed all the limits as he abused Arshdeep in Dubai.
After the match against Sri Lanka, the Indian players were making their way to the team bus when a fan waiting to get a glimpse of the players saw Arshdeep and called him a traitor for dropping the catch against Pakistan.
It was the first instance when the pacer faced trolling outside the stadium. Angered by the abuse, Arshdeep stared at the rude fan but decided not to indulge in any argument.
Nevertheless, a number of journalists, including Vimal Kumar, were present on the spot and came to Arshdeep’s defense by reprimanding the fan for his behavior.
In the video shared by Pak. Tv, Vimal Kumar addressed the fan and said, “Why are you doing this? Where are you from?”
Angered by the fan, Vimal asks the security to take him away and repeatedly asks the person why did he say those words?
“They are Indian players. Why are you rude to them? Is this a way to talk to the players?”
Security removed the fan from the scene.
