In a shocking case of unfair treatment, some Indian fans were pushed out of the Dubai International Stadium for wearing the team’s jersey in the final between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The famous fan group – The Bharat Army – has uploaded a video where the cricket lovers are seen describing what happened to them despite having the tickets.
The @icc & @ACCMedia1. We urge you to investigate as our members traveled all the way from India to watch the #AsiaCup2022 and have been told they can’t enter the stadium by local officials and the police! Absolutely shocking treatment,” the fan group wrote.
Meanwhile, India failed to qualify for the finale after losing to Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Super 4 stage. They started the tournament with consecutive victories over Pakistan and Hong but failed to get going in the second round.
